Sight Word lists will be coming home Monday for those who need to practice. Several students have completed all 11 lists or they need to practice a few words. We will be testing sight words each week so look out for new lists coming home for those who need it. You can make flash cards or play games to practice each night.
Leveled readers will also becoming home. Please return them the next day in the ziploc bag. Some strategies for reading with your child include: echo reading (you read, your child repeats), choral reading (you read together at the same time), or alternate reading (you read, they read). Building in RAZ kids, leveled readers, and sight word practice will help them grow as a fluent reader.
