Peek at the Week 5/5-5/9

PLEASE COME TO NOHS TRACK TONIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN RELAY FOR LIFE.  THE TEAM WALK WILL BEGIN AROUND 7:00 TONIGHT.  PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD OUT SO THAT THEY CAN HELP CELEBRATE SURVIVOR'S AND REMEMBER THOSE WHO HAVE LOST THE FIGHT TO CANCER!

The kids have all completed the MAP Reading and Math assessments.  I am so proud of the progress that they have made this year!  You will get results in their report card.

Math- Review:  Math Journals

Writing- Memory Book 

Social Studies- landforms: mountain, valley, desert, ocean, river, canyon, lake

Science- Stem activity with plant packages *If you still have cardboard juice cartons, milk cartons, egg cartons, or plastic fruit containers, please send them in.  Thanks for all of the contributions.

Project Based Learning begins Monday.  Your children will be attending their PBL class from 12:30 - 2:30; therefore, our class schedule will be different.

End of the year party:  We are asking that everyone send in $2 to purchase pizza for the end of the school year.  We are going to celebrate the year as a whole grade level.  The grade level will have pizza from 11:15 -11:45.  We will begin center rotations at 11:45.  We will be asking for donations of Little Debbie cakes, ice cream, toppings, bowls, and plasticware.  Thank you!
