Peek at the Week 4/14-4/18

Have a wonderful Spring Break with your family!  
Please see the information below regarding the week we come back from Spring Break.

Spelling Words: eight, seven, four, nine, one, twenty, forty, thirty, fifty, number
Bonus- hundred, thousand, thirty-five
Reading- Making inferences/ Finish DRA assessments
Phonics- review
Language Arts- review 
Math- Comparing Numbers with <, >, and =
Writing- Personal narrative about Spring Break 
Science- Plants

Upcoming Dates:
4/5 - 4/13 SPRING BREAK!
4/18- Egg Hunt
4/29- Map Reading Testing
5/1- Map Math Testing


We will have an egg hunt on April 18th. Please have your child bring in 24 eggs that are numbered 1-24 by Thursday, April 17th. Each child will be given a number to find to ensure that all students get the same amount of eggs. Eggs should be filled with wrapped candy {please no chocolate because it will melt} or little prizes {erasers, stickers, etc}! Please have your child bring a basket or bag on Friday for their eggs.

*MAP TESTING RESCHEDULED*
MAP testing has been rescheduled for the week of April 28th!
We go Tuesday, April 29th at 9:00 and Thursday, May 1st at 10:00

Conferences
This month, I will start sending out e-mail conferences regarding your child's progress. I will let you know if it is necessary to have conference at school with you. If you have concerns that you feel we need to discuss face to face, please let me know. Thank you!
