MARCH 13th- "ARF" FIRST GRADE PLAY

Please read the letter that was sent home today about our first grade play. We will be performing on Thursday, March 13th at 9:30 and 7:00. Your child needs to meet me in our classroom at 6:15 to put on their costume. Please also make sure to bring in your child's t-shirt by Monday. We can't wait for the performance!!! You are in for a treat!!!

Reminders:

Ms. Granger asked me to share this information with you so that it can be passed along to the first grade parents.

The children will be asked to wear a solid colored shirt (white, brown, black, orange, gray) for the play.

At Michaels, the solid colored shirts are $3.99 (Regular Price)

At Hobby Lobby they are $3.49

At Walmart, the shirts are $3.47 or $3.97

 

Both Hobby Lobby and Michaels usually have 40% Off Coupons Available.

Please bring t-shirts to school by MONDAY, MARCH 10th.  Please write their name on the tag of the shirt! Thank you!!!

Please be cautious of getting your child to school on time every day. We keep track of excessive tardies. Please encourage your child to come directly to the classroom by 7:45 if they are a car rider.

Book Fair

Dear Parents,

It is time for the RBES Spring Book Fair!  The dates for this exciting event are March 17-21.  The Book Fair will be open Mon.-Thurs. from 8:00 AM until 2:30 PM, Tuesday night from 5:30-7:30PM and on Fri. from 8:00 AM until 10 AM.  The Book Fair provides you, as parents, an excellent opportunity to purchase great books that your children will love to read.  This is also a wonderful way to help support the RBES Media Center.  All proceeds go directly to the RBES Media Center. Please contact Nicole Hurley at nhurley88@att.net if you are interested in volunteering. Ice Cream Social We are in need of ice cream toppings (gummy bears, cherries, whipped cream, sprinkles, crushed cookies, marshmallows...) of any kind.  We are also adding some exciting menu items that we will need help with.  We need pans of brownies (in disposable pans), bananas, straws, spoons, bowls, small Solo cups, large Solo cups. All items can be sent to school ahead of time and brought to Mrs. Cannon's room, room 422, or the front office.  The pans of brownies can be brought Monday, the 17th and Tuesday the 18th.
